Chicken CacciatoreIngredients: (no exact amounts)Chicken Breasts (boned & skinned) Crisco OilMilkAll Purpose FlourSalt & PepperGreen Pepper (cut in large pieces or strips)Onion (cut in pieces)Tomato Sauce or Puree Tomatoes (fresh or canned)Cut chicken breasts into bite-size pieces. Heat oil in fry pan, enough to cover bottom of pan. Prepare beading for chicken by seasoning flour with salt & pepper. Dip chicken into milk then dredge in seasoned flour. Place in well heated oil and brown until golden in color. Place browned chicken on plate and set aside. Cut green peppers & onions then saute' them in the remaining oil until translucent. Pour in tomato sauce or puree & add tomatoes. Put chicken in & simmer for at least 20 minutes. Serve over cooked spaghetti or rice.
