Taco Dip
3/4 t. garlic powder 3/4 t. chili powder 1/2 t. Tabasco 1 - 8oz. cream cheese 1 c. sour cream
Mix until creamy. Chill for 1/2 hour. Spread in a 1" tall dish.
Chop lettuce (about 2 c.), tomatoes and green onion. Spread over chilled mix. Spread 1 jar Picante
sauce or salsa over vegetables. Sprinkle with fancy grated cheddar cheese. Garnish with black olives and green onion.
Serve with tortilla chips.
NOTE: To make this
recipe low fat or fat free, just use the low or no fat cream cheese and sour cream. These do not hold up as well as the regular, but the dip doesn't stay around that long anyhow.
